Rachael ray 10pc nonstick cookware set | Review

If you are tired of those old pots and pans just sitting in the kitchen and withering away, and you want to freshen up your kitchen with some shiny new pots and pans. Then considering a complete and quality piece of non-stick cookware may be just up your alley. Non-stick cookware is easy to clean, easy to use and with proper care it can last you a long time.

One of the most popular and praised non-stick cookware sets you can buy is the Rachael ray 10pc nonstick cookware set. It has more then just a celeb name to it and today i will dwelve into the specifics of this nice cookware set.

Description of the cookware set.

The Rachael ray cookware set is made of hard-anodized aluminum with a nonstick finish to prevent food from sticking and make cleaning them easy. They also have a soft silicone grip on the orange handles that will allow you to grab hold of them even when they are steaming hot. The lids on the pots and pans, are made of see-trough glass, so that you can watch the cooking process closely without sacrificing nutrients and heat.

What is included in the package?

The Rachael ray cookware set consists of: 1-1/2-quart covered saucepan, 3-quart covered saucepan, 6-quart covered stockpot, 8-inch skillet, 10-inch skillet and a 3-quart/10-inch covered sauté pan.

What are the size and measures?

The complete set weighs in at about 18 pounds, which is a lot since they are made out of aluminum. This means that the set is made to last and definitely durable and tough.

How is it to use?

We put the pots and pans to the test to get a feel for how they perform while preparing a meal. The skillet performed well for making a omelette and we did not need to use any cooking oil to prevent the food from sticking to the pan, it skidded across the non-stick coating like it was on ice! The heat also seemed to distribute itself evenly across the surface and there were no hot-spots. The aluminum in these pans are great for conducting heat and it shows.

For cooking potatoes, the stock-pot did the job just nicely, the see through glass was a good indicator of the water level inside the pot, so we did not need to constantly open it and let the steam out to check. A big plus that we often miss in other cookware sets.

Cleaning and maintenance.

After using the cookware set, we washed it for hand by using a little soap and washing over it quickly with a small towle. The food came right off and did not stick to the pans, so it was easy to clean them. Just wipe over them once and rinse them in water and your done!

Things to consider…

As this cookware set is made with a non-stick coating, it is advised to avoid putting them into the dishwasher as this may damage the coating and make their lifetime shorter, but washing them for hand is easy and fast so it was not to troublesome.

Cheapest price among all dealers?

Among all dealers it seems like Amazon.com, an online store for a wide range of products is currently having the cheapest price among them all. If you are considering this cookware set i will recommend it there and not on the rachael ray website where you have to pay 50$ more last time i checked. This may however not last long so get it while you can.
